Minimum requirements For Substitute Teachers: Bachelor's Degree (Any, does not have to be in Education) Emergency Teaching permit will be provided at no cost For Teacher Aides/ secretary- High school diploma

Pay: Substitute Teacher pay rate= $135-$160 per day
Daily Substitute Teacher - $145.00
Building Substitute Teacher- $175.00
Long-Term Teacher (Days 15+ / 30+ days consecutive class) General Ed/Special Ed - $269.74 Daily

•Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher's existing lesson plans
•Instructing students on classroom topics/courses
•Building positive relationships
•Assigning reasonable tasks and homework
•Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation
•Build a classroom environment that's conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students
•Adapt to the various learning styles of students
•For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lessons plans, as well as build, administer, and grade tests and assignments
