Our in-house restaurant is searching for servers with a welcoming smile and a positive customer service attitude to set the tone for our visitors' dining experience. In the restaurant, you will serve our customers by ensuring they are seated quickly, their orders are received, prepared, and delivered in a timely manner, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next customers. Responsibilities: • Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities • Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors • Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience. • Take accurate food and beverage orders, serve items promptly, and accommodate special requests. • Develop a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer guest questions and provide recommendations. • Process payments correctly, ensuring the accuracy of guest checks and transaction methods to prevent errors. • Assist with food preparation and ensure all items meet quality and presentation standards. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations, including busing, resetting tables, and restocking supplies. • Perform opening and closing side work, including restocking, cleaning, and setup tasks, as directed. • Actively participate in pre-shift and department meetings to stay informed on products, services, and operational updates. • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe dining environment. • Collaborate with team members to support smooth and efficient service operations. Qualifications: • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, or hospitality is preferred but not required. • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure smooth service operations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and collaborating with team members. • Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic. • Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. • Flexible availability , including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. • High school diploma or GED equivalent required. • Guest-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. • Must be at least 21 years of age for night shift positions.
