The Manufacturing Manager at Boeing oversees the functional testing and final assembly of aircraft components to ensure airworthiness certification. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing suppliers, implementing process improvements, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The position requires extensive manufacturing and leadership experience within aerospace production, working onsite in Everett, WA on the 2nd shift.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Functional Test Manufacturing Manager to support the 777 CI&R Functional Test Team program in Everett, WA. This position is available for our 2nd shift.

The First-Line Functional Test Leader ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies

  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 1+ years of experience in functional testing

  • 1+ years of leadership experience

  • 1+ years of experience with Project Management & LEAN methodology

  • 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience working with aircraft systems

  • 3+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System

  • 3+ years of leadership experience

  • Operations/Manufacturing Management experience

  • Demonstrated performance improvement skills

  • Effective Communication Skills

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift.

Summary Pay Range: $125,000 - $134,200
