This is a rare chance to join Maïzly, an innovative and fast-growing plant-based brand, at a pivotal stage in our US expansion. As our Junior Brand & Events Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our marketing and events efforts—gaining hands-on experience across event planning, influencer marketing, and social media.

You’ll be building real-world skills in brand management, learning how a fast-moving consumer brand creates impact in both the US and UK markets, and seeing your work come to life in front of customers.

Working closely with our Marketing Director, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life at trade shows, customer activations, and influencer campaigns—all while enjoying the flexibility of a hybrid role based in Cary, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

Event & Activation Support & Coordination

• Track timelines and tasks for trade shows and brand events
• Help manage booth equipment, samples, and prep logistics
• Occasionally support with local in-person tasks (e.g., picking up/dropping off materials at the office or visiting a store for content)
• Support with Demo training and logistics
• Attending customer activations where required

Influencer & Partnership Assistance

• Support communication follow-ups for influencer agreements and deadlines
• Help track deliverables and ensure they’re being met
• Research and present to Marketing Director new influencers appropriate for the brand 

Social Media Assistance

• Schedule and post content Marketing Director creates or receives from Influencers/Agencies
• Community Management Support: Respond to comments and DMs
• Help monitor engagement and flag any issues or useful feedback

General

• Arranging logistics for sample requests

What We’re Looking For:

• Organized and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Experience or interest in events, social media, or influencer marketing
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or similar. We welcome candidates with event planning experience who are eager to grow their marketing skills. This is an excellent role for someone early in their career who’s looking to learn, gain hands-on experience, and grow within the company.
• Must be based in North Carolina (ideally Raleigh-Cary) with the ability to occasionally assist in person.
