Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and articulate Entry-Level Communications Assistant to join our growing outreach team. In this fully in-person role, you’ll help support nonprofit campaign messaging, public awareness efforts, and event-based communications. Whether you’re connecting with community members at local events or helping refine messaging on the ground, your voice will help drive results.

This is a great opportunity for recent grads or anyone looking to start a career in communications, public relations, nonprofit advocacy, or outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent nonprofit clients in public settings and events to share key messages

• Communicate campaign goals, updates, and mission points clearly and effectively

• Support event-based outreach by engaging with potential donors and community members

• Assist with promotional content for events, signage, and talking points

• Gather audience feedback to improve communication strategies

• Collaborate with campaign leads to ensure message consistency and community engagement

• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and communication workshops

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• A passion for storytelling and community outreach

• Comfortable speaking to small groups or individuals in face-to-face settings

• Ability to adapt messaging based on audience needs and reactions

• Team-oriented, reliable, and open to learning new strategies

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a background in communications, marketing, or public relations is a plus but not required
