Role Summary

As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role includes:

• Fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments.
• Maintaining industrial machines using your knowledge of mechanics and machining procedures.

This is a 3rd shift position , running from Sunday at 10:30 PM to Friday at 7:15 AM.

Responsibilities

• Operating Machines: Carry out routine tasks using basic equipment.
• Operations Management: Follow established processes for operational tasks.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to mandatory work instructions for safety.
• Operational Compliance: Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory codes.
• Precision Equipment Utilization: Use precision measuring instruments effectively.
• Instructions and Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Internal Communications: Engage courteously with team members.
• Policy and Procedures: Understand and align with organizational strategies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
• Skills: Proficient in operating manual lathes, milling machines, or CNC lathes/mills.

Preferred Skills

• Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
• Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritize activities to meet business objectives.
• Health and Safety: Knowledge of safe work systems.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
